Anita Ann Parkos

Anita Ann Parkos, 37, Fargo, North Dakota, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday January 14, 2013, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan with Rev. Dale Nabben officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 2-5:00 PM, Sunday January 13, 2013, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Anita was born March 2, 1975, at Bismarck, to Larry and Dixie (Heinle) Parkos. She was raised and educated in Bismarck where she graduated from high school in 1995. She earned an Associate in Medical Transcriptions from Aakers College. Anita worked in Bismarck at Midwest Motors, Osco Drug, Applebee's, the Ground Round, and Dakota Lounge. In 1998, she moved to Fargo where she worked for BCBS, Ricky's Bar, and Merit Care Hospital. Anita enjoyed riding horses, collecting unicorn figurines, stuffed animals, and writing poetry. She was very high spirited and liked everyone. She is survived by her parents Larry Parkos (Betty Meuchel), Menoken, and Dixie Parkos (Tom Paul), Lincoln; one brother, Larry (Akuba) Parkos Jr., Milwaukee, Wisconsin; aunts, Sue (Dave) Sorgatz, Patricia (William) Schroeder; uncles, Ernest (Donna) Heinle, Andy Heinle, Gerald Heinle (Sandy Fercho), Tommy Heinle (Judy Kottre); grandmothers, Pauline Heinle, and Eleanor Parkos; nephew, Carl jojo Parkos; and niece, Yaa Bema N. Tutu. Anita was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest Heinle, Marlyn and JoAnn Parkos.
