Antoinette Two Shields-Claymore Obituary (1960

Antoinette Two Shields-Claymore, 54, Fort Yates, North Dakota, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 25, 2015, in the Youth Activity Center, Cannon Ball with Pastor Buford Marsh officiating, with Traditional Ceremony performed by George Iron Shield. Visitation is scheduled for 9:00 AM until time of service also in the Youth Activity Center. Burial will be at Big Lake Cemetery, Cannon Ball at a later date. Antoinette was born October 2, 1960, at Fort Yates, to Sampson and Victoria "Zona" (Iron Shield) Two Shields Sr. She was raised and educated in Cannon Ball, Fort Yates, Solen, and graduated from Montpelier High School, Idaho. She attended Standing Rock College and United Tribes, and earned a degree in Criminal Justice, and Sitting Bull College and earned a degree in Early Childhood. On July 7, 2010, she married Blaine Claymore in Fort Yates. Antoinette enjoyed beading, crocheting, cooking, baking, gardening, drying goods, and going to rummage sales. She was loved by all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Blaine, Fort Yates; one daughter, Victoria Rose (Rylan) Sprague, Spearfish, South Dakota; one son, Albert Martinez Jr., Dallas, Texas; three step-sons, Blaine Claymore Jr., Bazille Claymore, and Brutus Claymore; two step-daughters, Jeana Wade Claymore and Aysha Claymore; two sisters, Jan Two Shields and Margaret "Sha" Two Shields (Alan Siegfried), all of Cannon Ball; three brothers, Sam (Renee) Two Shields Jr., Cannon Ball, Bruce (Donnette) Two Shields, and Casper "Kaz" Thunderhawk Jr., all of Fort Yates; grandchildren, Ria, Nyasia, and Abby Martinez, and Ella and Nels Sprague; numerous nieces and nephews, and best friend, Kelly Elk. Antoinette was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Arlene Ortiz, Cecelia Thunder Hawk, and Shirley Two Shields-White; four brothers, Wayne, Douglas, and Gordan Two Shields, and Nathan Thunderhawk; and infant daughter, Jennifer Martinez.
