ArvaDell J. Kinzler Obituary (1946 - 2014)

ArvaDell Kinzler, 68, Lincoln, North Dakota, passed away September 18, 2014, at her home, after a lengthy battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Calvary United Methodist Church, Bismarck with Rev. Perry Schnabel officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014, in the Congregational Cemetery, Kulm, North Dakota. ArvaDell was born January 12, 1946, at Jamestown, North Dakota to Clarence and Alice (Iszler) Hehr. She graduated from Kulm High School in 1964, and was united in marriage to Ronald Kinzler on April 17, 1966. They lived on a farm two miles west of Kulm. In 1983 she began work as a teller at Kulm State Bank, where she worked until her retirement in January 2008. Her faith was very important to her and she held various positions in her church, including pianist, choir director, Sunday School teacher, custodian, and several other positions. In December of 2011 Ron and ArvaDell moved to Lincoln to be closer to family. She continued to sell Avon until the summer of 2014. ArvaDell was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She thoroughly enjoyed life, and she was treasured by her family and her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Kinzler; one son, Mark (Serina) Kinzler, Bismarck; one daughter Julie (Wade Curren), Bismarck, three grandchildren, Emily, Aaron, and Brayden Curren; two brothers, Dennis Hehr and Larry Hehr, both of Aurora, Colorado; and three aunts, Joy Thede, Jamestown, Della Smith, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Marian Schmidt, Fargo.
