Brajon R. Ironshield, infant daughter of Brandi Cordova and Benjamin Ironshield, Cannon Ball, passed away September 2, 2011, at Medcenter One, Bismarck in the NICU. Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2011, in the Youth Activity Center, Cannon Ball with The Rev. Canon John Floberg officiating. This is in conjunction with her great-grandmother, Betty Elk\u0027s funeral service. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth\u0027s Catholic Cemetery, Cannon Ball. Visitation is scheduled for at 9 A.M. until time of service in the Youth Activity Center, Cannon Ball. Brajon R. Ironshield was born March 4, 2011, at Bismarck, to Brandi Cordova and Benjamin Ironshield, Cannon Ball. She was born three months early and was well taken care of by the doctors and nurses at Medcenter One NICU, Bismarck. She is survived by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Amidst; grandparents, Robert (Arlene) Cordova, Cannon Ball, Mary Ellen Ironshield, Porcupine; great- grandparents, Pete (Betty) Cordova, Bull Head City, Arizona, Raphael See Walker, Fort Yates, Mary Ann Krauser, Porcupine, and Herman Elk, Fort Yates; four aunts, Raylene and Kelcie Cordova, Roxanne Lewis, and Tawna Ironshield; uncle, Larin Ironshield; godfather, Brendan Cordova, godmother, Brittany Thunder Hawk; and numerous cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles. Brajon was preceded in death by her grandpa, Nathan Thunder Hawk; great grandmothers, Betty Elk and Angeline Black Cloud See Walker.Brajon\u0027s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Medcenter One NICU doctors and nurses for all their care, compassion, and love during her stay\u0027"especially to Dr. Ocejo and Dr. Van Norman.
