Claudia "Mouse" Ramsey-Charger Obituary (1960

Claudia \u0027"Mouse\u0027 Ramsey-Charger, 51, Isabel, South Dakota, passed away Friday, November 25, 2011, at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00, Monday, December 5, 2011, in the Youth Activity Center, Cannon Ball, with the Rev. Canon John Floberg officiating. Burial will be in Big Lake Cemetery, Cannon Ball. A wake service begins at 5:00 PM, Sunday, December 4, 2011, in the Youth Activity Center. Mouse was born June 21, 1960, at Cannon Ball, North Dakota, to Sidney and Victoria (Shell Track) Ramsey. She was raised and educated in Wahpeton, North Dakota, and graduated from Solen High School in 1978. She worked as a general laborer for Miller Construction and Cheyenne River Housing Authority. Mouse enjoyed listening to KLND, playing cards and games, taking care of her mother-in-law, Belva Frank, and visiting with family and friends. She was always thoughtful of others\u0027"sending birthday and Christmas cards. Mouse also enjoyed her coffee and cigarettes. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Charger, Isabel, South Dakota; two daughters, Ruby Ramsey, Bismarck, and Violet Ramsey, Fort Yates; two sons, Dale (Chrissy) Ramsey, Cannon Ball, Curtis Ramsey, Fort Yates; three sisters, Katherine Many Horses, Billings, Montana, Sandra ( Ronald) Yellow Hammer, Brockton, Montana, and Charlotte (Mercury Hollow) Ramsey, Fort Yates; three brothers, including twin brother, Claude (Lori) Ramsey Sr., Fort Yates, Sidney Ramsey Jr., Cannon Ball, and Sterling Ramsey, Cannon Ball; 12 grandchildren, Deana Red Water, Mercedes Red Water, Rose Ramsey, Joyce Red Water, Craig Red Water, Conner Jochin, Dade Crabtree, Kiaya Ramsey, Calian Ramsey, Alyxiana Ramsey, Robin Fox, and Jerry Fox; aunt and second mom, Alma Mentz; uncle Patrick Ramsey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended grandchildren. Mouse was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Mavis Ramsey, Harriet Elk, Julie Nelson, and Linda St. John; two brothers, Terrance Ramsey and Cedric Ramsey; and aunt and second mother, Regina Grant.
