Clem John Brave Bull Obituary (1966 - 2014)

Clem John Brave Bull, 48, Fargo, North Dakota, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014, at Moorhead, Minnesota. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in the Youth Activity Center, Cannon Ball with Brother George Maufort officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery, Cannon Ball. Clem was born February 20, 1966, at Fort Yates, to Rudolph Stretches and Isabel Brave Bull. He was raised and educated in Beulah, North Dakota where he graduated from high school. He served in the US Army National Guard. He liked working construction, and any outdoor activity. He loved helping people and had a good sense of humor that left them with a smile. In 1979, Clem was baptized and confirmed in Zion Lutheran Church, Beulah, North Dakota. He is survived by two daughters, Nellie Brave Bull, Somerville, South Carolina, and Felita Brave Bull, Valley City; one son, Lee Brave Bull, Valley City; one sister, Marvel (David) Alaniz, San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Marlon Lambert, Fort Yates, Earl Brave Bull, Bismarck, and Delnoe (Valarie) Wolf Necklace, Cannon Ball; two grandchildren, Shannon and Star; foster brothers and sisters, Delvin Isaak, Rapid City, South Dakota, Betty (Reuben) Isaak, St. Clairsville, Ohio, Kelly Longfox, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Kathy (Ron) Poast, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Tammy (Steve) Kelsch, Bismarck, Bobbi Jo Zueger, Bismarck, and Shawn (Deanna) Duckett, Billings, Montana; stepchildren, Celeste Red Stone, Cindy Red Stone, and Shalako White Lightning; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Clem was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Alvera Brave Bull and Clarice Jochim; special friend, Clovia White Lightning; and uncle, Rodney Conica.
