Curlie White Obituary (1948

Curlie White, 70, Bismarck, went to his heavenly home on April 12, 2019, at home, with family by his side. Curlie was born October 20, 1948, to Sylvester and Lou Vera (Sanders) White, at New Albany, Mississippi. He was united in marriage to Dinah Lingert on August 31, 1990. They raised one son, Christopher. Curlie loved to play the trumpet and play jazz music and he taught his son to play. He did things with his family. He wrote poetry. He also had a telescope and at night he would look at the moon and stars with his son. He worked at Salvation Army for 6 years. Then he worked at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, California as a chef for 27 years. He will be deeply missed by his wife Dinah and son Christopher, both of Bismarck; sisters Irene, Nettie and Carrie; brother James; many nieces and nephews. Curlie was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Laverne and Mary.
