Darleen K. Swank, 69, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. A private memorial service is planned, with burial in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Darleen was born July 26, 1945, at Cando, North Dakota, to Conrad and Regarda (Krenzel) Erck. She was raised and educated in Bisbee. On August 3, 1963, she married Harry Swank in Dickinson. She enjoyed camping, going to the casino, family dinners, but especially spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her husband, Harry; five sons, Kevin (Julie), Byron, Minnesota, Kelvin (Michelle), Almont, Michigan, William, Michael, and Jeffrey (Teresa), all of Mandan; four brothers, Ed, Salem Oregon, Don, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ray, Los Lunas, New Mexico, and Leo (Judy) Erck, Rapid City, South Dakota; three sisters, Beata Gasparre, Los Vegas, Nevada, Alice Olson, Moriarty, New Mexico, and Jayne (Larry) Burkhart, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Dakota, Jacob, Dillan, Megan, Kaelyn, and Emme; and one great-grandson, Caleb Darleen was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Oscar and Nick Erck; and two sisters, Rose Decker and Edith Haberstrah.
