Delores Sherman

Delores May Sherman, 93, Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away on August 2, 2026, at a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday August 6, 2026, at DaWise-Perry, Mandan, Burial will be in Menoken Cemetery, Menoken, North Dakota. Visitation at DaWise-Perry one hour before services.

Delores was born March 16, 1933, at Bismarck, North Dakota, to Chester Paul and Lillian Marie (Tjomsland) Sherman. She was raised and educated in Menoken and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1952. She married Gerald Kleiter on June 27, 1952 in Bismarck. Delores was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked as the manager of the Credit Bureau, Sturgis, South Dakota, but most of her work life was with the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Office in Bismarck. She enjoyed music, playing keyboard, church organ for weddings and dances, sewing, and crafts.

She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Chester and Irene Sherman, Deadwood, South Dakota.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Lillian Sherman, one sister, Darlene J. Sherman and one brother, Claude M. Sherman.

Arrangements are being made by DaWise-Perry, 4211 Old Red Trail, Mandan, North Dakota.
