Delta Wangen

Delta Wangen, 63, Mandan, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, at a local Care Center. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, June 3, 2022, at DaWise- Perry/ Mandan Crematory, 4211 Old Red Trail, Mandan. Cremation has taken place.

Delta was born July 30, 1958, at Harvey, North Dakota, to Arduin and Marilyn (Neff) Wangen. She was raised and educated in Bismarck, ND.

Delta was very well known for being the BEST bed sheet folder on the planet, it was an occupation she enjoyed to the fullest. She was an avid baseball fan and spent many hours, with her father, watching the Minnesota Twins games, and when she wasn't watching baseball on TV, she was, more than likely, attending a Bismarck Larks game in person, she always had season tickets and very rarely, if at all, missed a home game.

Delta also enjoyed sharing her delicious BBQ'd meatballs and bacon-wrapped sausages with family and co-workers. She was a dog lover and enjoyed her little dog "Spencer".

Delta also wanted Janna Tellmann, Kristin Foss-Dokken, Clayton and Coriene Meier mentioned as very special people that made a HUGE impact in her life, of which their friendship, she will be eternally grateful for.

She is survived by Claude (Kathy) Wangen, brother, Mandan, ND; Dwight Wangen, brother, and Becky Janssen, Bismarck, ND; Dave (Dori) Wangen, brother, Anamoose, ND; Bryan Wangen, brother, and Rae Johnson, Lincoln, ND; Lori Hartman, sister, and Mark Matuska, Mandan, ND; Diana Rader, sister, Gainesville, Florida and several nieces, nephews, and her pet dog Spencer.

Delta was preceded in death by her parents, Marilyn (2004) and Arduin (Ardie) Wangen (2007), Bismarck, ND, and several other family members.
