Edmund "Ed" Kindsvogel Obituary (1925

Edmund "Ed" Kindsvogel, 92, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Sunset Drive - a Prospera Community, Mandan. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 30, 2017, at Calvary United Methodist Church, Bismarck with Rev. Perry Schnabel officiating. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Ed was born May 23, 1925, in Hebron, North Dakota, to Gustav and Katherina (Kitzan) Kindsvogel. He was raised and educated in Hebron. On April 22, 1951 he married Tillie Klein in Hebron. Ed served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He also farmed for five years, worked at the Hebron brick yard, and was a plumber and pipe fitter. He enjoyed anything outdoors; hunting, fishing, and trapping to name a few. Ed also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his friends and family; especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Tillie, Mandan; two sons, Bruce (Nancy) and Barry, all of Mandan; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two brothers; and daughter-in-law, Susan Kindsvogel.
