Eugene Eagle Jr.

Eugene Eagle Jr., 60, New Town, ND, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Trinity Hospital, Minot. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 29, 2024, at DaWise-Perry/Mandan Crematory with Msgr. Chad Gion officiating. Friends and family will gather one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the ND Veterans Cemetery. There will be no viewing, as cremation has taken place.

Eugene was born October 30, 1963, at Santa Cruz, CA, to Eugene Sr. and Margie (White Eagle) Eagle. He was raised and educated in Santa Cruz, CA and Fort Yates, ND, graduating from Standing Rock High School. He worked various jobs including housing department in Fort Yates and the highway department in New Town. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and anything outdoors.

He is survived by his son, Chase Eagle; sister, Deborah Eagle; brother, Richard Eagle; grandchildren, Journey, Romeo, Kaylee, baby Chase, Hunter, Rhys, Trace and Naim; nieces, Nevada, Dakota and Elise; special cousins, Terry Eagle and Kathy Eagle.

Eugene Jr. was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Eagle and Albert Eagle; sister, Meredith Eagle; and nephew, Courtney Loon.
