Harald Eivind Evensen, 77, Tappen, ND, passed away March 3, 2020, at Sanford Health - Bismarck. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. Harald was born October 1, 1942, at Nottingham, United Kingdom, to Eivind and Joyce (Huskinson) Evensen. He was raised and educated in England. He moved to the United States in 1970. He worked in construction and owned a sunglasses business. He married Kathryn Schatz, June 14, 2006, at Las Vegas, NV. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; sister, Hilary Sherwin, England; brother Jon (Jean) Evensen, England; half-sister, Sue (Ray) Roper, Duluth, MN; half-brother, Dave Evensen, Duluth, MN; sister-in-law Karen (Randy) Kinev; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Harald was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Brian Sherwin; and special friend Rev. William Hutchinson.
