Hertha Eleanor Krieger Obituary (1929

Hertha Eleanor Krieger, 87, Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan, with Rev. Dale Nabben officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck. Hertha was born July 15, 1929, at Krem, North Dakota, to Christ and Wilhelmina (Rasch) Wolf. She was raised and educated in the Hazen area, where on April 15, 1955, she married Elmer Krieger. They farmed in the Hazen area until moving to Bismarck in 1977. Her most recent employment was as a laundry worker at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center. Hertha loved the outdoors, gardening, cooking, and baking. She was dedicated to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Arlynn (Sonia) Krieger and Elton (Beth) Krieger, all of Bismarck; two grandchildren, Ashlynn (Branden) Krieger and Nicole Krieger; and three great-grandchildren, Audrilynn, Addilynn, and Ambrialynn Krieger. Hertha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Elmer; and three sisters, Frieda Schwarz, Hulda Schutz, and Lorraine Lauf.
