Janice Fetzer

Janice I. Fetzer, 76, Mandan, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Sanford Healthcare on Sunset, Mandan, North Dakota. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 28, 2014, at Faith Lutheran Church, Bismarck with Rev. Jon Splichal-Larson, officiating. Burial will be in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Janice was born January 26, 1938, at Arena, North Dakota, to Oscar and Violet (Muchler) Weitstock. She was raised and educated in Wing, North Dakota. Following graduation from Wing High School, she moved to Bismarck, where she met Clarence Fetzer. They were married on December 16, 1956, in Bismarck, and together raised three sons, Scott, Craig, and Kurt. Janice loved to playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her three sons, Scott, Craig, and Kurt; brother, Milo (Gladys) Weitstock, all of Bismarck; sister, Arlys Poppke, Mandan; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous, nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Kenneth Weitstock and Ardell Weitstock.
