Kauai Otto Kuntz Obituary (2013

Kauai Otto Kuntz, infant, Fort Yates, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013, at his home. A private Funeral Service was held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan with Rev. Ruger Winchester officiating. Visitation was scheduled for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial was in the Dwarf Family Cemetery, Fort Yates. Kauai was born August 22, 2013, in Bismarck, to Adam and Kara (Mauai) Kuntz of Fort Yates. He is survived by parents, Adam and Kara; his brothers, Memphis Ikaika and Nalu Pax Kuntz; his grandparents, Rinissa Fitzpatrick and William Kuntz Sr., Karen (Rodney) Silva; Ben (Karen McL) Mauai, and Pamela Dwarf, all of Fort Yates; his great-grandparents, Gloria Dwarf, Fort Yates, and Esmeralda Shelltrack, Hawaii; aunties and uncles; William Kuntz Jr., Robert John Kuntz, Jett Kuntz, Brandon (Angela) Mauai, Bradley Mauai, Kaimana Mauai, Ku'uipo Mauai, Bishop Mauai, Brooklyn Mauai, all of Fort Yates; Amanda (Austin) Roller, and Ampah (Chris) Danielson, of Bismarck; Taylor Baker, and Farrol Baker, of Montana; and numerous cousins. Kauai was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Raymond Dwarf Sr.; Adam Kuntz and Sophie Tiokasin, all of Fort Yates; Richard Fitzpatrick Sr. and Rita Ann McLaughlin, Montana; and uncles, Joseph Charles Kuntz, and Devin Dwarf, Fort Yates.
