Larry James Erickson

Larry James Erickson, 65, Mandan, passed away August 28, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, September 8, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Service, 4211 Old Red Trail, Mandan, ND. Burial will be at 1:00 PM September 9, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place.

Larry was born December 2, 1956, in Bismarck, the son of Dale Erickson and Katherine Flath Erickson. He married Lorie Hoskins in Mandan on May 9, 1988. He was raised and educated in Mandan, ND. Larry worked for the BNSF Railway Company for over 25 years.

Larry always loved sports which was one of his favorite past times. He was very active in the local softball group where he helped and donated numerous hours and laughs. If he wasn't in the field, you could always find him watching a game of some sort on the big screen. He also greatly enjoyed his newest job of being a grandpa. He really shined when they were together.

Larry is survived by his two children, Robert Hoskins III and Jessica (Michael) Kuntz; granddaughter, Adelyn; his three siblings, Vicky, Dennis (Dorthea) and Rodney (Rhonda); and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ronald.

Larry will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
