He loved volunteering and did so with Easter Seals and most recently served at Missouri Slope Nursing Home in Bismarck where he resided. Throughout Larry's life, he was a sports fanatic and enjoyed watching football, basketball and WWE (wrestling). His avid love for sports began with his grandfather taking him to wrestling matches when he was young. He had a love for football and he never missed a Minnesota Vikings game. Besides sports, he loved 60's music, especially Elvis Presley, but his greatest love was for God and his family.

He is survived by his parents; sisters, Dawn (Lynn) Wunderlich and Melissa (Annie) Peacock; brothers, Kurt, Randy (Wanda) and Travis (Kim) Peacock; nieces and nephews, Josh Peacock, Connor, Aubrey, and Broden Wunderlich, Aidan and Teagan Peacock, and Austin and Kyle Newsome; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
