Malieke Michael Standing Bear Obituary (2013 - 2013)

Malieke Michael Standing Bear, infant son of Jodi Dogskin and Frankie Standing Bear went peacefully to heaven in the arms of his parents, on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, March 22, 2013, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fort Yates, with Fr. Basil Atwell officiating. Burial will be in the Grey Bear Family Cemetery, Fort Yates. He is survived by his parents, Jodi Dogskin and Frankie Standing Bear; his grandparents, Jackson and Karen Dogskin, Delsie Standing Bear; great-grandparents, Leona Standing Bear, Seraphine Dogskin; aunts, Casey Dogskin, Jaci Dogskin, Terri Kay Yellow Hammer, and Pam Brave Bull; uncles, Ian and Elwood Goodleft, Wendell Yellow Hammer, and Robert Bull Bear; and special cousins, Austin Dogskin, Kaden, Kimberly, and Jazmyn Yellowstone. Malieke was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Joseph and Emma Grey Bear, Frankie Standing Bear, and Thomas Dogskin; grandmothers, Roberta Dwarf and Marjorie Grey Bear; auntie, Kimberly Dogskin and numerous grandparents, great-grandparents, uncles, aunties, and cousins.
