Mamie Frances Zalumskis Obituary (1933

Mamie Frances Zalumskis, 83, Bismarck, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Sanford Health Continuing Care Center off Collins, Mandan. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2016, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services with Deacon Bob Wingenbach officiating. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. Mamie was born April 12, 1933, at Sandoval, Illinois, to William and Nettie (Bell) Parker. She was raised and educated in the Sandoval, Illinois area. She married Stanley Zalumskis at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois on May 14, 1955. She was a bookkeeper and worked in retail sales over the years with her last retail sales job with Better Half at the Gateway Mall in Bismarck. She is survived by her husband Stanley Zalumskis; sister Cynthia Jordon, Illinois; daughter-in-law Erin Zalumskis-Sand; and three grandchildren, Jarrett, Sydney, and Rebecah. Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, two sons William and Jerome; sisters Wilma Gambil and Essie Madison; brother Byrle Parker.
