Marilynn Yvonne One Feather Obituary (1950

Marilynn Yvonne One Feather, 63, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1500 County West Road, Bismarck with Bishop Jeff Ottosen and President Timothy Cox officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 5-7:00 PM, Friday, June 14th at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Bull Head, South Dakota. Marilynn was born April 24, 1950, at Fort Yates, to Melvin and Beatrice (Cottonwood) Eagle. She was raised and educated in Bismarck where she graduated from Bismarck High School. She attended Valley City State College. In 1971, she married Raphael Byzewski Sr., they had four children and later divorced. In 2003, in New Town, she married James One Feather. Marilynn enjoyed quilting, beadwork, spending time with family and friends, and attending church at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her husband, James One Feather, Mandan; daughter, Twyla Byzewski, Mandan; three sons, Raphael Byzewski Jr., Bismarck, Joel Byzewski, Rapid City, and Jesse Byzewski, Devils Lake; two sisters, Jennifer Eagle, and June (Paul) Hoisington, all of Mandan; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Don and Cletus Eagle; and sister, Mary Lou Red Bear.
