Marlowe Red Tomahawk Sr., 52, Fort Yates, North Dakota, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Fort Yates. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 3, 2015, in the Youth Activity Center, Cannon Ball, North Dakota, with Rev. James Red Tomahawk officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM, with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Burial will be in the Red Tomahawk Family Cemetery, Cannon Ball. Marlowe was born March 31, 1963, at Bismarck, to Milo and Josephine (Four Swords) Red Tomahawk. He was raised and educated in Cannon Ball and attended High School in Fort Yates. Marlowe worked various jobs throughout his life. He was a simple compassionate man in life, and always enjoyed his music, spending time with his friends, and family. He was helpful through working or just visiting a family member or friend. He is survived by his six children, Marlowe Jr., Cole, Katie, Johnston, Quentin, and Nicholas; three brothers, Joe Mountain Jr., Milo (Donelle) Red Tomahawk Jr., James (Charity) Red Tomahawk Sr.; three sisters, Jewel (Frank Sr.) Felix, Beverly Luger, Judy (Brad Barter) Red Tomahawk; special nieces, Jaimee Red Tomahawk, Kristen Bearstail; special nephew, Michael Red Tomahawk Sr.; adopted brother, David Yescas; numerous nieces and nephews; and "my friend", Autumn Gwin. Marlowe was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Red Tomahawk; paternal grandparents, Emeron and Annie (Little Warrior) Red Tomahawk; maternal grandparents, Joe and Jenny (Four Swords) Rainbow Sr.; nephews, Seth Red Tomahawk, Brendell Dogskin, Neil Luger Sr., Sheldon Luger Sr., Frankie Felix; uncles, Kenneth "Sioux" Rainbow, Joe "Sunny" Rainbow Jr., Herbert "Hobo" Rainbow; brother-in-law, Richard Luger Sr.; and niece, Carrie "Wolf Necklace" King.
