Mathilda Tibke Obituary (1937

Tillie Tibke, 76, New Salem, North Dakota, passed away September 13, 2013, in her home. Private Services will be held at a later date. Tillie was born June 28, 1937, near Hannover, North Dakota, to George and Mary (Schaner) Gress. She was raised and educated in New Salem. On June 28, 1973, she married John Tibke in Branson, Missouri. Over the years she had several jobs, but worked the longest as a house keeper at Elm Crest Manor in New Salem. Her favorite thing in life was raising her family. She enjoyed playing guitar, gardening, canning, and fishing. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John, New Salem; three daughters, Sheila Williams, Waco, Texas, Cindy (Everett) Lemay, and Shelly Tibke, all of Bismarck; five sons, Eugene Krouse, Mustang, Oklahoma, Dennis (Cydell) Krouse, Jacksonville, Florida, Mike Krouse, Ramsey, Minnesota, and Monty Tibke and Jerry Tibke, both of Bismarck; five sisters; two brothers; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tillie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wayne Gress; and two sisters, Donna Hagel and Jeanette Nagel.
