Norma Jean Linder

Norma Jean Linder, 79, Mandan, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, at St. Gabriel's Community, Bismarck. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018, at DaWise Perry Funeral Services, Mandan with Deacon Dennis Lohr officiating. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place.

Norma was born December 17, 1938, at Bismarck, to George and Eva (Engel) Schaeffer. She was raised and educated in Selfridge, North Dakota, where she also graduated from High School. Playing cards with friends was a favorite activity. She also enjoyed baking, especially fudge and cookies.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Ronald) Ralston, Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters Dolores Fiechtner, Seattle, Washington and Jeannette Jachetta, Brighton, Colorado; brother, George (Bernadette) Schaeffer, Selfridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald and Anton Schaeffer.
