Robert (Bob) Barth

–

Center, North Dakota

Robert "Bob" Harley Barth, 64, of Center, North Dakota, passed away on August 29, 2025.
Born on December 17, 1960, in Bismarck, North Dakota, Bob was a proud lifelong resident of the area. After graduating from Center High School, he traveled a bit then settled back home where he met and married Shelly Schiermeister. They had three children and settled in Center where he dedicated 10 years to his community as a volunteer firefighter for the Center Fire Department. For 21 years, Bob was a familiar and friendly face at the Ramkota Hotel, where he worked with dedication and a great sense of humor.

Bob was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend who would help anyone in need. He lived by the Golden Rule and was a steadfast believer in the power of positivity. He truly cherished the simple things in life, finding joy in driving around and visiting with people, always finding a friend wherever he went. An avid Minnesota Vikings fan, he never missed a game and was always looking for someone to place a bet with. He had a deep love for classic rock music and could tell you the name and artist of every song that came on the radio. Above all, Bob's greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved being a Papa to all of his beloved grandbabies.
Bob will be remembered for his kind heart, his commitment to his community, and his unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and cherished memories.
A funeral service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 12, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Center, North Dakota. Visitation will be September 11 from 5-7 PM.
