Sandra Renken

Sandra Renken, 64, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015, near Menoken, doing what she loved. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2015, at First Lutheran Church, Mandan with Rev. Christina Martin officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 5-7:00 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM, Friday, June 26th at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Mandan.

Sandra was born May 24, 1951, to Harry and Jacquelyn (Richards) Block at McLaughlin, South Dakota, where she was raised and educated. On February 15, 1969, she married Jerry Renken in McIntosh. Sandra worked as a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed visiting with everyone, gardening and going for motorcycle trips. She always saw the good in everyone and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; three sons, Clint (Mary) Renken, Mandan, Chad Renken, Bismarck, and Cody Renken, Mandan; two brothers, Jerry Block, McIntosh, South Dakota, and Bill (Deb) Block Menno, South Dakota, sister-in-law, Christen Block, and brother-in-law, Nolan Seim, both of Lemmon, South Dakota; four grandchildren, Cierra Horning, Bismarck, Tanner Buchholz, Mandan, and Broden and Treyson Renken, Bismarck, and many more that called her "grandma".

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Linda Seim; brother, Gene Block; and infant sister, Mary Rose.
