Serena L. Turner, 70, Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at Sanford off Collins, Mandan. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, July 27, 2016, at St. James Episcopal Church, Cannon Ball with the Rev. Canon John Floberg officiating. Burial will be in St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Cannon Ball. Serena was born October 12, 1945, at Wakapala, South Dakota, to Jerry and Lulu (Soft) See Walker. She was raised and educated in Wakapala. Serena loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and collecting owl themed items. She is survived by three daughters, Stacey Lafferty, Kansas, Lenora Lafferty, Mandan, and Juanita Seewalker, Bismarck; three sons Dion Lafferty, Bismarck, and Lionel Lafferty Jr., Mandan, Meredith Seewalker, Council Bluffs, Iowa; four grandchildren, Chasity, Jimmy, Tony, and Carl. Serena was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and four brothers.
