Terrance Lee Iron Boulder Obituary (1966

Terrance Lee Iron Boulder, 51, Selfridge, North Dakota, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017, at IHS Hospital, Fort Yates. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 30, 2017, in the Porcupine Community Center, Porcupine, North Dakota, with Fr. Biju Anthony officiating. A Wake/Rosary Service begins at 6:00 PM, Friday, September 29, 2017, in the Porcupine Community Center. Burial will be in St. James Catholic Cemetery, Porcupine. Terrance was born February 7, 1966, in Fort Yates, to Joe Becker and Sylvia Iron Boulder. He was raised and educated in Fort Yates where he graduated from high school in 1984. He also studied carpentry in the Job Corps. Terrance worked for various positions on Standing Rock, including, Head Start, janitor, security for the Porcupine District, and as a supervisor at Prairie Knights Casino. He had a kind heart and would laugh and joke with everyone, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He loved working on things, and was a true "MacGyver." He is survived by his significant other, Cheryl Oster, Selfridge; two daughters, Rochelle Rodrigues, Fargo, and Ivory Iron Boulder, Selfridge; four sons, Hunter Iron Boulder, Selfridge, Giddeon Iron Boulder, Wakpala, South Dakota, Todd Iron Boulder, Selfridge, and Terrance Iron Boulder Jr., Selfridge; two sisters, Ann Iron Boulder, Mandan, and Raylene Lewis, New Mexico; seven brothers, Robin Iron Boulder, Mandaree, Brian Iron Boulder, Greenville, Illinois, Timothy Randahl, Hardin, Montana, Lonnie Lewis and Bruce Lewis, both of New Mexico, Joe Iron Boulder, Mandan, and Wilmer Iron Boulder, Twin Buttes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. Terrance was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jay Lewis; and numerous aunts and uncles.
