Terry L. Myers

Terry L. Myers, 55, Bismarck, North Dakota, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 21, 2017, at United Methodist Church, Mandan, with Rev. Bruce Adams officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 3-5:00 PM, Sunday, August 20, 2017, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at 12:00, Noon, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Leeds Lutheran Cemetery, Leeds, North Dakota.

Terry was born March 9, 1962, to Gwyene Myers in Leeds, where he was raised and educated. He worked most of his life for Dakota Gasification Company, north of Beulah, in Protective Services. On February 1, 2013, he married Kathy Jochim in Stanton. Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Kathy; his mother, Gwyene Owens, Leeds; his daughter, Laura (Josh) Chaffin, Beulah; son, Brian Myers, Hazen; step-son, Josh (Marcella) Jochim, Great Falls, Montana; sister Renae, Bullhead City, Arizona; grandchild, E. Chaffin; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and sisters and brothers-in-law.

Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents; and stepdad, Cecil Owens.
