Thomas Glenn Fuhrman

Thomas Glenn Fuhrman, 84, Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at his home. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are welcome to join us in a celebration of his life from 1 to 4:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2015, at Hillside park shelter #1.

Thomas was born December 15, 1930, at Beulah, North Dakota, to Jacob and Rachel (Boeckel) Fuhrman. He was raised and educated in Beulah. He enjoyed fishing with his family and playing cards. Later on he enjoyed hooking up the boat to the camper and going fishing with his wife.

In retirement he enjoyed gardening and watching the grandchildren play volleyball. Tom was a kind and generous man and always put his family first. He said his wife was his rock. He will be dearly missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Fuhrman, Bismarck; three daughters, Colene Maier, Denise Fuhrman, and Nadine Isaak, all of Bismarck; three sons, Thomas Fuhrman, Bismarck, Bryant (Robin) Fuhrman, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Kent Fuhrman, Fargo; one sister, Marion Scheck, Bismarck; one brother Wayne (Cora) Fuhrman, Oregon; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elizabeth Lagge; and brother Darrell Fuhrman.
