Thomas Hinsley Jr. Obituary (1960

Thomas Hinsley Jr., 58, Fort Yates, North Dakota, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the AJ Agard Memorial Building, Fort Yates. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Kennel, South Dakota at a later date. Thomas was born February 3, 1960, at Fort Yates, to Thomas Sr. and Cynthia (Rough Surface) Hinsley. He was raised and educated in Wakpala, South Dakota. He worked many years for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe as a maintenance man and at the Prairie Knights Casino. He was a Denver Broncos fan and loved wolves. He liked to fish, pitch horseshoes for fun, spend time with his family and friends but, especially with his grandchildren. He is survived by his five daughters, Paulette Hinsley, Lisa Hinsley, Dominique Hinsley, Krissy Hinsley and Rachel Bohl; son, Cole Hinsley; sisters, Cheryl Hinsley, Roxanne Hinsley, Anita Kidder, Diana Hinsley-Hunter, and Tina Lautt; brother, Donald Hinsley; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends and long-time special friend and companion, Nicole Gipp. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ardis Hinsley; brother Lewelyn "Bucky" Ireland; and step-mother, Rita Kidder.
