Filina "Vi" C. Ressler, 85, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018, at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Visitation is scheduled for 5-7:00 PM, Monday, April 9, 2018, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Mandan. Filina was born December 2, 1932, in rural Sioux County, North Dakota, to Sam and Freida (Nagel) Harrison. She was raised and educated in Fort Yates. Filina loved cooking for her family, friends, and listening to country western music. She had a love for animals and the holidays. She is survived by her husband, Donald; three daughters, Sally (Norman) Frederick, Isabel Parker, and Sheila Kahl, all of Mandan; two sisters, Opal Renken, Flasher, and LaVone Moore, South Dakota; two grandchildren, Devin and Nigel Frederick; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Filina was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lucille Peterson, and Ruby Block; three brothers, Raymond, Clinton, and Elvie.
